MISSION, VISION, GOALS

CAIS is a public charter school open to all students in Oregon, focused on providing students a charter school experience that prepares them to be the innovative workforce of tomorrow through career relevant learning, industry exposure, internships, and industry/college certifications and degrees through Clackamas Community College. The development and operation of CAIS is a partnership between Oregon City School District, regional industry partners, and CCC.​

CAREER RELEVANT EDUCATION

CAIS prepares students for careers in manufacturing and engineering trades alongside careers in healthcare and communications by offering a rigorous and relevant academic curriculum and college coursework through Clackamas Community College. The courses offered at CAIS are tailored towards preparing students for trades, college, and innovative careers.

EARLY COLLEGE

Most CAIS students complete their high school graduation credit requirements while taking college level courses at Clackamas Community College. Students can take courses not offered through CAIS at CCC while earning both high school and college credit. Many students take courses in machining, welding, electronics, renewable energy, and other required courses for earning certification or an associates degree from CCC. Students must meet requirements to take college courses and the majority of cost for those courses is covered by CAIS.​ Featured coursework includes:
