CAIS's robotics team "Skynet" getting ready for the tournament in 2023

TEAM 2550 ROBOTICS

The mission of Team 2550 Robotics is to prepare students for a future in a technologically focused world, by learning critical problem-solving skills and working as a team to accomplish a given problem while providing an enjoyable and welcoming environment for all. Membership is open to students at any school within the Oregon City School District.

Each year, CAIS hosts a regional FIRST Robotics Competition event through FIRST Oregon, where we typically compete as Team 2550 Skynet. CAIS holds coursework regarding robotics in preparation for this alongside an after-school program dedicated to the craft. Within these competitions, CAIS has won Quality Awards, Gracious Professionalism Awards, and even placed as Finalists and Winners.
